Who we are
Spellcove is made by Ingenuity Labs LLC. Questions: spellcove@ingenuitylabs.net.
Children
Spellcove is designed for children aged 5–11. We do not ask for names, emails, photos, locations or any other personal information, and children cannot create accounts or chat. There are no ads and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the game or the app.
What stays on the device
Game progress (scores, which words have been practised, prizes collected, settings, custom word lists) is stored only on the device, in the browser's local storage or the app's storage. Deleting the app or clearing site data removes it. Custom word lists are kept in the link itself and never sent to our servers.
Website analytics
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and anonymous events (for example, “a worksheet was printed”). It uses no cookies and does not identify or track individual visitors across sites.
Purchases in the app
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts from Apple, not names or emails. See Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for details.
Speech
Words are read aloud using the device's built-in speech voices. No audio is recorded.
